Not a substitute for professional care
Please read this before using Preveal. It matters.
Preveal is a self-knowledge and inner-life intelligence tool. It is not a medical device, not a clinical assessment instrument, and not a substitute for professional mental health care. Nothing produced by Preveal constitutes a diagnosis, a clinical recommendation, or professional advice of any kind.
Preveal is designed to help individuals name what they already feel but cannot yet explain — by surfacing the psychological need most likely driving their inner disturbance. It is a recognition tool, not a treatment tool. It offers language and reflection, not intervention.
The readings Preveal produces are pattern-based observations grounded in psychological needs theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles, and Rogerian person-centred frameworks. They are designed to prompt honest self-reflection — not to serve as definitive explanations of any individual's psychological state.
Preveal is not therapy. It is not counselling. It is not psychotherapy. It is not coaching. It does not produce DSM-aligned assessments or any clinically recognised psychological evaluation.
Preveal is not a crisis intervention tool. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal ideation, self-harm urges, symptoms of psychosis, or any acute psychological emergency, do not rely on Preveal. Please contact a qualified mental health professional or a crisis service in your country immediately.
If you are in crisis right now, please reach out to a crisis line or emergency service in your country. You do not have to face this alone — and Preveal is not the right tool for this moment.
Practitioners who use Preveal as a supplementary tool within professional relationships do so at their own professional discretion. Carvey Innovations Limited does not warrant that Preveal is appropriate for any specific clinical population, therapeutic modality, or individual client. Practitioners remain solely responsible for all clinical decisions made within their professional relationships.
Preveal should never be used as the sole basis for any clinical decision, risk assessment, or treatment recommendation.
Preveal's readings are generated through a deterministic pattern-matching architecture informed by psychological needs research. They are designed to be thought-provoking and directionally accurate for many users — but they are not infallible, and they are not personalised clinical assessments. Individual experiences vary significantly and no automated tool can account for the full complexity of any person's inner life.
If a reading does not resonate, it should be disregarded. The tool includes accuracy feedback and refinement options precisely because no single reading is guaranteed to land for every user.
Carvey Innovations Limited accepts no liability for decisions made or actions taken based on any reading, output, or content produced by Preveal. Use of this tool is entirely at your own risk. By using Preveal you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer and agree to our full Terms of Use.
